Since the inception of PhysioChoice in 1995, we have had one philosophy: "We are only as good as our last visit. We promise all customers to aid them back to health as soon as possible, and we keep that promise".
As a result, we have grown to become the largest privately-owned physiotherapy company in Australia with over 54 practices in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia.
Paul Hill
CEOPaul began his career as a physiotherapist in 1994 with Morwell Physiotherapy, under the mentorship of Alan Yates. Just a year into his career, Paul became a partner in Morwell Physiotherapy and soon after founded Gippsland Physiotherapy Group. Throughout the late 1990s, Paul pursued his vision of establishing a premier physiotherapy business dedicated to delivering high-quality services to regional Victoria. In the early 2000s, this vision evolved into PhysioChoice, which has since expanded to nearly 50 locations and continues to grow. As CEO, Paul is a hands-on leader involved in every aspect of the business, ensuring that PhysioChoice maintains its reputation for excellence and innovation. Paul's approach to leadership is deeply rooted in his commitment to providing exceptional client care and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. He leverages his extensive experience and expertise to drive the company's strategic initiatives, focusing on expanding access to top-tier physiotherapy services across Australia. Prue Hill
COOPrue is a dynamic and accomplished professional serving as the Chief Operations Officer at PhysioChoice. With a career dedicated to excellence in healthcare management. Prue's journey in healthcare began with a clear vision: to enhance patient care through efficient and compassionate service delivery. At PhysioChoice, she has been instrumental in scaling the business into one of Australia's largest privately owned physiotherapy networks. Her expertise in operational management has driven significant improvements in service quality, client satisfaction, and overall business growth. Prue embraces cutting-edge technologies and automation, streamlining processes to ensure a seamless patient experience. Her commitment to integrating modern solutions with traditional healthcare practices has set a new standard in the industry. Prue's approach is always patient-centric, ensuring that every innovation and change ultimately benefits those seeking care. In addition to her role at PhysioChoice, Prue is one of the passionate founders of CorporateChoice Healthcare, a branch focused on delivering tailored healthcare solutions to corporate clients. Alan Yates
DirectorAlan started private practice in Morwell circa 1986 as Morwell Physiotherapy. In 1993, he employed a young graduate named Paul Hill and the rest they say is History! Alan is the Practice Principal of our Morwell practice. His skills and expertise as a physiotherapist has been invaluable in the development of our Physio’s for the past 30 years and has been with Gippsland Physiotherapy Group since.
Bob Wong
DirectorBob Wong joined the PhysioChoice team as a new graduate in 2010 at our Leongatha location where he later become a Director. Bob is the Practice Principal of our Dingley practice in Melbourne.
Daniel Stevenson
DirectorDaniel joined PhysioChoice in 2014 after relocating to Australia from New Zealand to lead our team in Cowes, Victoria where he was later offered the opportunity to become director of the company. Daniel also is Head of our Aged Care Facilities Services and provides mentoring and support to our Aged Care team as well as his private practice role.
Leigh Dunstan
DirectorLeigh joined PhysioChoice as a new graduate Physiotherapist in 2013 and became a director in 2015. Leigh is the Practice Principal of both the Mulgrave and Hampton Locations in Victoria. Leigh has guided many new and emerging physio’s throughout his career at PhysioChoice
Rob Brownlow
DirectorRob joined PhysioChoice in 2013, becoming its youngest director in his second year. He oversees training programs for emerging physiotherapists, he is the Practice Principal at Traralgon, Victoria, and conducts nationwide Core Development Days. Rob's rapid rise exemplifies PhysioChoice's commitment to recognising talent and fostering clinical excellence.
Neil Synnott
DirectorNeil has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement), Bachelor of Exercise Science, a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons), and is able to provide physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Services to his clients. Neil’s areas of professional interest include lower back, hip and pelvis injuries, chronic cervical, shoulder and upper limb injuries, and exercise for health / injury prevention. Neil also conducts Pilates sessions.
Mark Alcock
DirectorMark joined the company in 2014 following his graduation from Otago University in New Zealand. In 2016 he was invited to become a director of the company as well Practice Principal in Warragul Victoria where he leads and mentors a large group physiotherapists and supports staff.
Henry-George Emery
DirectorHenry obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 2015 where he then moved to Warragul Victoria to join the PhysioChoice team and was offered to become a Director in 2017. Henry founded our Drouin location that has become one of the largest and successful practices in the network.
Jacob Johannessen
DirectorJacob commenced his career in 2017 with PhysioChoice as a new graduate in Traralgon Victoria and was offered a directorship in 2020. After undertaking his initial time in regional Victoria, Jacob relocated to Melbourne where he is Practice Principal of our Point Cook Location.
James Ingeri
DirectorJames joined PhysioChoice as a new graduate physiotherapist in 2018 at our Wonthaggi location. In 2020 James was offered the opportunity to become a director of the business when he relocated to Bairnsdale Victoria to establish our new location and manage both the Bairnsdale and Sale Practices. Under James's leadership his team has grown to become one of the most successful in the network. James skills in mentoring and developing new physiotherapists, especially those overseas trained is exceptional.
Jayd Djakovic
DirectorJayd joined the team in Thirroul NSW as a 3rd year Physiotherapist. His passion and enthusiasm for the business lead to him being the first team member outside of Victoria to be offered the opportunity of a directorship. Jayd not only manages his Thirroul location but provides mentoring and support to our twelve locations in NSW.
